Air Amplifiers or Air Movers


Air Amplifiers or "Air Movers" from Nex Flow™ Air Products Corp., are a simple, inexpensive devices with virtually no maintenance Air Amplifier can convey fumes, smoke, lightweight materials and move a high volume of air for cooling, blowoff and drying applications.

Tremendous Cooling Effect: A major application is cooling due to the high flow and velocity produced cycle time for cooling casting especially materials made of aluminum and copper is reduced dramatically using Air Amplifiers.

Standard (Fixed) Air Amplifiers

The Fixed Air Amplifier is zinc die cast Standard Air Amplfiers from Nex Flow™ are solid and perform as well or better than patented designs when used in similar applications. The gap can be adjusted by adding shims, five sizes are available. It is easy to mount and maintain reducing both compressed air consumption and noise levels. It is quiet, can amplify flows up to 16 times their input air consumption rate.

The adjustable Air Amplifier is anodized aluminum or Stainless Steel for high temperature or food applications. The customer can set the gap and lock it in place using a lock ring. They are used for a variety of applications. Adjustable Air Amplifiers take energy from a small volume of compressed air to produce high velocity, high volume, low pressure output airflow. It is quiet, efficient and can amplify flows up to 17 times the input air consumption rate.

The adjustable Gauged Air Amplifier: Anodized aluminum with the gap marked for accurate setting as required. The customer can set the gap using the gauged markings n the amplifier body and lock it in place using a lock ring.

A fixed air outlet gap is maintained with a Stainless Steel shim that maintains consistent performance.  Additional shims may be added for increased flow. 

There are no moving parts and is maintenance free.  More efficient than venturis and ejectors. Units are lightweight, no moving parts, and no electricity.
